In-person sessions occur once a month on Wednesdays from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm from April 22nd to September 16th, with a final performance scheduled for September 23rd held at our rehearsal studio in Redwood City.

Have a story to tell? Tell it on stage! Join us for this playwriting class, created in partnership with TheatreWorks Silicon Valley and inspired by the Young Playwright’s Project they teach in high schools all across the Bay Area. The senior playwright’s project is structured in a similar fashion as the high school program, but tailored to older adults in the community. All levels of experience are welcome to participate.

In seven sessions, students will work with an esteemed local playwright and teacher to learn the basics of writing a ten-minute play, workshop a draft of their own play, culminating with a staged reading presentation of the pieces written during the class. Plus, monthly virtual 1:1 sessions with instructor and playwright Terry Boero for personalized feedback and critiques.
